EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Adoration in Holy Rosary on Monday 12 November following the 10.00 am Ma ss until 7.25 pm. Mass at 7.30 pm.

VISITATION OF SICK AND HOUSEBOUND

Fr Madden will visit the sick in his care on Monday 12, Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 November, after 10.00 am Mass.

BookS of Remembrance

During November Books of Remembrance will be in each of the churches for parishioners to enrol the names of their deceased loved ones.

PAPAL VISIT COLLECTION

The second collection this weekend in Ballinascreen will go to help defray the cost of the recent Papal Visit to Ireland.

Annual Mass for deceased parishioners will be on Friday November 16 at 7.30 pm in St Patrick’s Church, Keenaught.

ST EUGENE’S CHURCH ~ TOILETS

The new toilets (including disabled facility) situated at the rear of the Parochial House are now completed and will only be opened when St Eugene’s Church is in use for Mass or other church events.

DO THIS IN MEMORY 2018 - 2019

First Holy Communion Preparation Masses will be celebrated in Holy Rosary Church at 12 noon on the following dates:

25 November 2018, 16 December 2018,

27 January 2019, 10 March 2019 and

14 April 2019. On 23 June 2019 the Final Mass will be celebrated in St Columba’s Church, Straw at 11.00 am All Primary 4 children and their families are warmly invited and encouraged to attend this family and parish focussed programme.

PARISH ANNIVERSARY MASS

Friday Mass at 7.30 pm in St Columba’s Straw is offered as an anniversary Mass for deceased parishioners. If you wish to have your loved one prayed for at this Mass you MUST give their name to the Parish Office before Thursday of the relevant week.

DIOCESAN MASS FOR DECEASED YOUNG PEOPLE

Annual Mass for Deceased Children and Young People will be celebrated by Bishop Donal McKeown in St Eugene’s

Cathedral, Derry today Sunday 11November at 7.00 pm. An invitation is extended to all who are grieving the loss of a young relative or friend to come together in prayer and support.

ANNUAL DERRY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES

Pilgrimage from 4 - 9 July 2019. The Pilgrimage Office, 164 Bishop Street, Derry, is now taking enquiries and initial expressions of interest from anyone who might intend to participate in it.
