POPE LEO @PONTIFEX
Although the earth can produce enough food for all humanity, many of the world’s poor still lack their daily bread. This makes the tragedy of hunger and malnutrition even more lamentable and shameful.
PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS In the gospel Jesus invites us to "...ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers into His harvest..." because "The harvest is rich but the labourers are few." As we thank God for our seminarians and the men currently discerning a vocation we pray that many more will hear, and respond positively, to the Lord's call to serve the Church as priests of the diocese. |
