Divine Mercy prayer leaflets are free to take.
THE SIGN OF PEACE
Though there is much talk at the present about the Coronavirus and the need to take necessary precautions, it has been long held by the medical profession that the shaking of hands at the sign of peace during Mass does contribute to the unnecessary spreading of germs etc. Given that the Coronavirus (COVID 19) has the potential to be a serious threat to our wellbeing and in order to take the sensible measures that would be expected of any institution that brings people together, the Sign of Peace at Mass in Ballinascreen and Desertmartin is suspended, effective immediately.
We also ask those who use tissues etc…to please bring them home and dispense with them there.
DEATHS
We extend our prayerful sympathy to the family and relatives of:
Sadie Glasgow, Gortnari,
Dolores Toner, Brackalislea,

#LIVINGLENT ~ DIOCESAN DAILY LENTEN PRAYER
Loving Father,
to prepare for His mission
of proclaiming Your kingdom to the world
Your Son Jesus was guided by
Your Holy Spirit to the quiet of the desert.
In these Lenten days,
I pray that I will be guided by that same Spirit,
to a place of renewal in my heart and mind, so that I will seek opportunities for daily personal prayer, personal sacrifices and acts of kindness.
With Your help,
may I too be truly prepared to share in the story of the passion, death and resurrection of
Jesus Your Son, our Lord.
Amen
