FEASTS OF THE WEEK
Monday 4: St Charles Borromeo, lived 1538-1584. Patron saint of catechists and seminarians.
Tuesday 5: St Martin de Porres. Lived 1579 – 1639. A Dominican lay brother who spent his nights in prayer and penance and his days in the monastery, caring for the sick and poor. He is renowned for his devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.
Wednesday 6: All The Saints of Ireland.
Saturday 9: Dedication of Lateran Basilica. This church is ‘Mother and Head of all the churches of the City and the World.’ It is the cathedral church of the Bishop of Rome and is dedicated to the Most Holy Saviour.

Eucharistic Adoration in St Eugene’s Church Moneyneena on Monday November 4 will commence after the 10.00 am Mass and conclude at 7.25 pm. Mass at 7.30 pm.
PADRE PIO MASS
Monthly Mass in honour of St Pio of Pietrelcina will be celebrated on Monday November 4 at 7.30 pm in St Eugene’s Church, Moneyneena.

MASS FOR DECEASED PARISHIONERS
The Annual Parish Mass for the deceased parishioners will take place on Friday 15 November at 7.30 pm in St Columba’s Church, Straw. The names of all who have died in Ballinascreen or were buried in our parish since last year’s Annual Requiem Mass, will be read out at this Mass.
BOOKS OF REMEMBRANCE
During the month of November a Book of Remembrance will be in each of the churches for parishioners to enrol the names of their deceased loved ones.

The Friday 7.30 pm Mass in St Columba’s Church Straw is offered as an anniversary Mass for deceased parishioners. If you wish to have your loved one prayed for at this Mass you MUST give their name to the Parish Office by Thursday of the relevant week. These names will also be read out at the 10.00 am Mass on Friday mornings (exception when this 10.00 am Mass is cancelled).

MATT TALBOT FREEDOM FROM DRUGS MASS
This Mass will be celebrated in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Monday 4 November at 7.30 pm and will be offered for those who are addicted to drugs and their families. We pray that through the intercession of Venerable Matt Talbot people will be freed from this addiction. Prayer cards will be available.
