ST COLUMBA’S CHOIR, STRAW
Choir practices will resume on Thursday 12 September at 7.30 pm. The choir is looking forward to another year of worshipping God in song and enhancing Liturgical ceremonies. The beginning of a new choir year is the perfect time to invite and welcome new volunteers. Research has shown that singing in a choir has tremendous benefits for physical and mental well-being. Why not give some consideration to joining us for rehearsals, using your talent to help the Church and fulfil its needs with service.

The Workspace Group in partnership with O’Kanes Chemist and Ballinascreen Men’s Shed will host a men’s health programme over a series of sessions starting on September 12 at 12 noon in the Workspace Main Office. All men aged 18 and above are welcome.
STRESS CONTROL COURSE
This free six week, self-help course is for people experiencing anxiety or depression, or anyone who is experiencing stress, knows someone who is, or just wants to be better equipped to deal with stress. People who have attended classes to date identify learning a range of beneficial skills to help them manage stress. Course starts on Wednesday 18 September at 6.30 pm in Medowbank Arena, Magherafelt.
