Friday 8: International Day of Prayer and Awareness against Human Trafficking. This day was first observed in 2015 on the memorial of Sr Josephine Bakhita,1868 – 1947. She was brought as a slave from Sudan to Italy, where she became a Christian and later entered a convent in Venice.

Monsignor Donnelly is a former Vicar- General of the Diocese of Derry and a native of Ballinascreen. We look forward to welcoming him home to his parish for this special occasion.
