Thursday 17: St Anthony of Egypt, died in 356. Known as ‘Father of monasticism,’ he lived a life of solitude but also attracted many others to form communities of hermits.

Church Unity week begins on Friday January 18. Please pray for the unity of all Christians so that those who need to hear about Jesus will be convinced of the Love of His Father in heaven for them because We Are One.

Derry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will be held from 4 - 9 July 2019. The Pilgrimage Office, 164 Bishop Street, Derry is open every Thursday and Saturday 11.00 am – 1.00 pm.

As part of the Credit Union’s 50th Anniversary Celebration the Trading Standards Service (NI) will give a talk and presentation on Scams and Rogue Traders in The Market Inn on Wednesday 16 January commencing at 7.30 pm. This presentation will make you aware of the different types of scams that are currently operating and help you avoid getting caught up in these scams and maybe losing money as a result.
