ANNUAL MASSES FOR DECEASED PARISHIONERS
The Annual Parish Mass for the deceased parishioners will take place next Friday 9 November at 7.30 pm in St Columba’s Church, Straw. The names of all who have died in Ballinascreen or were buried or waked in our parish since last year’s Annual Requiem Mass, will be read out at this Mass. After all the names have been read out an adult member of each bereaved family will be invited to carry a lit candle to the altar. Each family should ensure that an adult member has been selected to represent them.
Other members of the congregation, who also had a bereavement in the past year, will then be invited to carry forward a lit candle in memory of their deceased loved ones.
All candles will be provided at the back of the church during this Mass.
· The Annual Mass for deceased parishioners of Desertmartin Parish will take place on Friday November 16 in St Patrick’s Church, Keenaught at 7.30 pm.
