PARISH MISSION
The Vincentian Fathers will conduct a Four Day Parish Mission for both Ballinascreen and Desertmartin parishes from Thursday 29 May to Sunday 1 June. This is a new approach to Parish Missions and it is hoped that it will be a time of great blessing for both parishes and renewal for all who desire a stronger faith. Further details later.
ANNIVERSARY MASS NOTICE
Because of the Parish Mission, there will be NO Parish Anniversary Masses on Friday May 30 or Saturday May 31. Families are asked to choose the weekend before or after and let their Parish Office know in advance.

DIOCESAN 3-DAY PILGRIMAGE TO LOUGH DERG 2025
Starts Friday 25 July and concludes on Sunday 27 July. For those wishing to avail of transport, a bus will depart after 10:00 am Mass in St Eugene's Cathedral, Derry, on the Friday. Alongside Knock Shrine and Croagh Patrick, Lough Derg is one of three esteemed traditional pilgrimage locations to be designated by the Irish Bishops’ Conference as national places of pilgrimage in this Jubilee Year.

Derry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday 15 June.
LITTLE WAY NOVENA 2025
The Little Way Novena in honour of St Thérèse of Lisieux in St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry, from Saturday 10 until Sunday 18 May. The Novena begins with a Mass with Anointing of the sick at 7.30 pm on Saturday 10 May. On Sunday 11 May at 6.00 pm there will be Devotions and a talk.
Monday to Friday (12 to 16 May) Novena Masses will be celebrated at 6.30 am and 10.00 am and there will be an Evening Service with a guest speaker at 7.30 pm. On Saturday 17 May the 10.00 am Mass will be offered up for those who have died. The Novena closes on Sunday 18 May at 3.00 pm. This will be an opportunity to pray for our intentions and to ask St Thérèse to intercede for us. All welcome to the cathedral for this time of prayer and petition.

WARM WELCOME WEDNESDAY
Wednesday 7 May Dementia NI will be present to raise awareness about dementia, to offer support to people diagnosed with dementia as well as their families and carers. Their presentation will commence at 11.30 am in Workspace Community Hub. All welcome, booking not required.
Community First Responder Scheme for Ballinascreen - If interested in learning more about the Community First Responder Scheme or becoming a volunteer in Ballinascreen area, an Information Session will be on Wednesday 14 May in Workspace Community Hub at 7.00 pm where Mid Ulster Community First Responders will explain how the scheme works and how to become a volunteer. This event is open to all, booking not required.
Mid Ulster Community First Responders will also be holding free CPR and defibrillator training in Workspace Community Hub on Thursday 22 May at 7.00 pm.
