FEASTS OF THE WEEK
Good Shepherd Sunday (30 April): As we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday today and the 60th anniversary of the first World Day of Prayer for Vocations, a National Year for Vocations to the diocesan priesthood is being launched this weekend, with the theme: Take the Risk for Christ.
Is it too ambitious to hope that our prayers will encourage at least one man from each parish in the diocese of Derry, and from every parish in the country, to hear and answer the Lord as He invites workers into His vineyard?
Monday 1: St Joseph the Worker.
Tuesday 2: St Athanasius, bishop and doctor of the Church.
