Ambiyo, her husband Mahat, and their eight children who were forced to flee their home after a fourth year of drought in Somalia feature on this year’s box. An unprecedented humanitarian crisis is unfolding, and almost 8.3 million people are facing unbearable hunger there. Trócaire has been working with their partners in Somalia for 30 years and so is in a unique position to offer support to those affected.

To learn more about Trócaire’s ongoing work in Somalia and in other areas please visit their website www.trocaire.org
