This year’s annual Summer Draw will take place over the five Saturdays in August. Winners will be announced every Saturday at the 6.00 p.m. Mass in Holy Rosary Church.
All proceeds from this draw will go to our church renovation fund for the upkeep of all our churches in the parish. Prizes are as follows:

MARY'S MEALS - CHURCH TALKS
A volunteer from Mary’s Meals will speak at all Masses on the weekend of 2 /3 August about their work and progress in providing school meals to children living in poverty around the world. Mary’s Meals Charity would appreciate your prayers in support of their work. A collection will be taken up after each Mass if you wish to support this organisation financially. GRANDPARENTS PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK
National Grandparents’ Pilgrimage and World Day for Grandparents and Elderly will be celebrated at Knock Shrine on Sunday 27 July starting at 2.30 pm. A day of grace, blessing and prayer for families, our church, and our future. All are welcome, bring your family - bring hope and joy. Celebrant for the Anointing Mass will be Archbishop Francis Duffy.

LIGHT THE FIRE EVENT
A warm invitation to come on Sunday 3 August to celebrate our Catholic faith on Slane - the hill where St Patrick lit the first Paschal fire in 433A.D. This is a divine invitation to witness the Archbishop of Armagh symbolically light the fire of faith, hope and love, first kindled by our patron saint. Dana will sing her song for St Patrick, Light the Fire. Gathering begins at 12 noon and includes Mass, Eucharistic Healing, praise, worship and Rosary.

TASTE MID ULSTER MARKET
Food and craft market stalls, cookery demonstrations, live music entertainment and various children’s activities will all be part of the Taste Market in Draperstown on Saturday 2 August. Free entry.
Please note that Mid Ulster Council wish to inform parishioners that High Street will be closed from Friday morning (August 1) until Saturday night, (August 2) but the rest of the town will remain open. Activities will also be taking place in the Fairhill Park area.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOUGH DERG
Three day pilgrimage next weekend from Friday 25 July until Sunday 27 July. For those who wish to avail of bus transport, a bus will leave St Eugene's Cathedral, Derry, after the 10.00am Mass. If you wish to have a deceased loved one prayed for at any Anniversary Friday Mass, you MUST please email their name to Ballinascreen Parish Office by noon on Thursday of the relevant week. Notices for First Anniversary and Month's Mind Masses should be received before the Wednesday of the previous week so that, they may be printed in the Bulletin the weekend before the Anniversary Mass.

Sarsfield’s Accordion Band
Annual Buffet and Dance in the Parish Hall, on Saturday 6 September. Music by Sprig of Heather. Tickets on sale, £15, from any band member, or pay at the door.
Band practice: Thursdays at 7.30 pm. Members are asked to attend please in preparation for the Feast of the Assumption celebrations on Sunday 17 August in Newcastle Co Down.
