PADRE PIO MASS
Monthly Mass in honour of St Pio of Pietrelcina will be celebrated on Monday June 3 at 7.30 pm in Holy Rosary Church. Novena prayers and Rosary at 7.10 pm. All welcome.
VISITATION OF SICK AND HOUSEBOUND
Over the next two weeks Fr Madden will continue to visit the sick of the parish and will contact each family the day before. If anyone has special hospital appointments etc please let him know and a time and day that suits can be arranged.
SUMMER DRAW 2024
The Annual Summer Draw is upon us and this year the need for us all to make a huge effort to get as many to take part cannot be exaggerated. The work in St Eugene's Church, Moneyneena is progressing well and we are hoping that the Summer Draw will be a great success. We rely on every parishioner to take tickets into their work place and to distribute them among family members who live outside the parish. Tickets will very soon be available to buy from Draw Promoters and at all the usual outlets and they will also be available to purchase online.

BLESSING OF GRAVES 2024
Blessing of Graves in the parishes of Ballinascreen and Desertmartin will take place next weekend as follows:
Saturday June 8:
6.30 pm ~ Mass in St Patrick’s Keenaught followed by Blessing of graves.
Please note earlier Mass time.
Sunday June 9:
11.00 am ~ Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Sixtowns followed by Blessing of graves.
12 noon ~ Mass in St Eugene’s Church, Moneyneena followed by Blessing of graves.
2.00 pm ~ Blessing of graves at St Columba’s Straw.
3.00 pm ~ Blessing of graves at St Mary’s, Coolcalm.
4.30 pm ~ Blessing of graves at Old Keenaught Church.
Please gather at your family grave before the Ceremony begins.
Please bring a small container of water (ONE for each grave) to the Ceremony.
This water will be blessed during the Ceremony. A member of each family will be invited to sprinkle holy water on the grave after the prayers of blessing over all the graves have been recited by the priests.
At each Ceremony we will also remember by name all those who died in our parish since Cemetery Sunday 2023.
The annual gate collection will be taken up, at the end of each ceremony to help with the upkeep of the graveyards. You may use the white envelope (at the back of each box of envelopes) marked Special Collection No 1 for this collection.
