All children who made their First Holy Communion this year in Ballinascreen and Desertmartin are invited to come dressed in their special communion clothes in order to take part in the Eucharistic Procession which will take place at the end of Mass. The Procession will leave Holy Rosary by the front door, continue up Tobermore Road and turn right at McAuleys.  It will return to Holy Rosary Church via the roundabout.

Stewards will mark the route and we are very grateful to St Colm’s GAC for its support and help. Mass and Procession will conclude with Benediction.

DAY FOR LIFE 2025

Today, Sunday, is the  Day for Life, 2025, and we are invited to pray for those who suffer and to remain with them like the Good Samaritan, bearing witness to their unique and unrepeatable value. We see this closeness in the generous and fruitful service of healthcare professionals, whose mission continues even when there is no longer any prospect of physical healing. We see it in another way in families, carers and chaplains who support their brothers and sisters who are sick or frail or struggling with the many burdens of life. As Christians, we affirm them and hold out to them the hope of Jesus Christ who does not disappoint us. To read the full bishops’ message please visit www.councilforlife.ie

POPE LEO  @PONTIFEX

Let us bring our ailments and those of our loved ones before Jesus with trust. May we bring Him the pain of those who feel lost and without a way out. Let us cry out for them, and we can be sure that the Lord will hear and stop for us.

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS Lord Jesus, we pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood. May those whom you call to serve as priests be filled with your Holy Spirit, and may they be guided by your wisdom and love. Inspire them to be faithful shepherds of your flock, and may they lead others to you with compassion and grace. We ask this through your name. Amen.
