PARISH MISSION
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Vincentian Fathers have had to regretfully cancel the Four Day Parish Mission in Ballinascreen and Desertmartin planned to be held from 29 May to 1 June.
Because the Parish Mission is now cancelled there will be Parish Anniversary Masses as usual on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 May.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO LOUGH DERG 2025
There will be a pilgrimage to Lough Derg from Thursday 10 July until Saturday 12 July. This is open to all members of the parish, and we may be able to book a bus depending on the number of responses. Alongside Knock Shrine and Croagh Patrick, Lough Derg is one of three esteemed traditional pilgrimage locations to be designated by the Irish Bishops’ Conference as national places of pilgrimage in this Jubilee Year.
DERRY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK
Pilgrimage led by Bishop McKeown, on Sunday 15 June, commencing with Rosary at 2.00 pm, followed by Anointing of the Sick at 2.30 pm and concluding with Mass and Eucharistic Procession at 3.00 pm. In conjunction with this Pilgrimage, St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry, is running a two-night pilgrimage to Knock from 15 -17 June. Cost is £280 per person sharing. LITTLE WAY NOVENA 2025
The Little Way Novena in honour of St Thérèse of Lisieux in St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry, continues until next Sunday 18 May. Today, Sunday 11 May at 6.00 pm there will be Devotions and a talk. Monday to Friday (12 to 16 May) Novena Masses will be celebrated at 6.30 am and 10.00 am and there will be an Evening Service with a guest speaker at 7.30 pm. On Saturday 17 May the 10.00 am Mass will be offered up for those who have died. The Novena closes on Sunday 18 May at 3.00 pm. This will be an opportunity to pray for our intentions and to ask St Thérèse to intercede for us. All welcome to the cathedral for this time of prayer and petition, in person or join in the Novena via the cathedral webcam.

WARM WELCOME WEDNESDAY
Community First Responder Scheme for Ballinascreen - If interested in learning more about the Community First Responder Scheme or becoming a volunteer in Ballinascreen area, an Information Session will be on Wednesday 14 May in Workspace Community Hub at 7.00 pm where Mid Ulster Community First Responders will explain how the scheme works and how to become a volunteer. This event is open to all, booking not required.
Mid Ulster Community First Responders will also be holding free CPR and defibrillator training in Workspace Community Hub on Thursday 22 May at 7.00 pm.
