POPE FRANCIS@PONTIFEX

Sometimes we may feel we are alone in facing difficulties. But, even if He doesn’t intervene immediately, the Lord walks by our side and, if we keep going forward, He will open up a new path.

PRIVATE PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION

I thank you Jesus, that when you came into this world,

You came to a humble home as a member of a simple family.

Come into my home today, and stay with me and my family.

My Jesus, forgive me all the times that through my own fault I have lost

you.

Forgive me the faults that makes me difficult to live with,

Forgive me when I am too self-centred and do things that get on the nerves of other members of the family, and go on doing them even when I am asked not to.

Through the prayers of Mary and Joseph, help me to find you at all times,

to find you in your Church, in the Eucharist, in the words of Scripture, and even in other members of my family and the events of daily life.

Lord, bless my family, grant peace to my home, and bring us to the

happiness of your family in heaven.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, assist me in my last agony.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, may I breath forth my soul in peace with You.

Amen
