PADRE PIO MASS

The Monthly Mass in Honour of St Pio of Pietrelcina will be celebrated on Monday 2nd September at 7.30pm in St Eugene’s Church Moneyneena.

 

DERRY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK

Fr Madden is organising a bus to take pilgrims from Ballinascreen and Desertmartin to Knock on Saturday 28 September leaving Holy Rosary Church at 7.30 am. There will a tea/coffee break stop on the way to Knock and on the return home for an evening meal. Please contact Maire at Ballinascreen Parish Office by phone only or in person 79628248. Cost is  £35, this includes breakfast and evening meal.  This Diocesan Pilgrimage will be led by Bishop Donal McKeown.  Stations of the Cross at 2.00 pm, Mass at 3.00 pm, with Sacrament of the Sick.

The Friday 7.30 pm mass inSt Columba’s Straw is offered as an anniversary mass for deceased parishioners.  if you wish to have your loved one prayed for at this mass you must give their name to the parish office

ST. COLM’S HIGH SCHOOL

AWARE NI

We would like to thank everyone who supported Ballinascreen Fold Fundraiser for AWARE NI by attending our Afternoon Tea which raised £444.13. 

 

KILCRONAGHAN CENTRE

Art Classes recommence on Wednesday 11th September with Mary T Gribben.  Places still available on both classes: 10am – 12noon or 7pm – 9pm.  These classes are suitable for beginners & experienced & new faces are always very welcome.

Willow weaving workshops recommence on Monday 16th September x 4 weeks.  This is a FREE class, funded by MUDC Peace IV.  Everyone welcome.

Yoga with Angela O’Loughlin recommences Thursday 19th September, 10.30am – 12noon x 6 weeks.  Suitable for all ages& abilities.

Vintage Rally & Family Fun Day: Saturday 28th September, 11am – 4pm.  A great day out with entertainment to suit all ages.  Lots of FREE childrens activities.

  • Children welcome to play with the Lego Box during September on Tuesdays at 5.00 pm.   Parents must stay and supervise their children.  If this time does not suit, parents may inform the library staff and an alternative time or day may be arranged.

Coffee & Clobber Morning  On Tuesday 10 September, Thornhill Ministries will hold a fundraising activity as part of our ongoing efforts to help clothe children and adults in the developing world.  Bring us your used clothes between 10:30 am and 12:00 noon and we will provide you with a cuppa and tray bake as a thank you for your generosity.  Material, bedding and towelling also welcome.  Please note: We collect clobber throughout the  year.  Donations always welcome!
