IRISH CATHOLIC NEWSPAPER

Over the past few months the Irish Catholic Newspaper has been promoted and offered to parishioners as an excellent resource of keeping up to date with issues that are relevant in the church in general and in Ireland in particular. However the parish is losing money week after week as the paper remains unsold. Therefore the decision has been taken to stop selling the paper after this weekend. Davy O'Kane Newsagents has agreed to make the newspaper available from next week.

PARISH ANNIVERSARY MASS

The Friday 7.30 pm Mass in St Columba’s Straw is offered as an anniversary Mass for deceased parishioners. If you wish to have your loved one prayed for at this Mass you MUST give their name to the Parish Office by Thursday of the relevant week.

ONLINE HOLY WEEK RETREAT

Priory Institute Dublin, offer a free online Holy Week retreat with reflections on the Holy Week and Easter Gospels. This retreat consists of eight recorded sessions with presenters who will guide participants through a reflective reading of each Gospel Reading, following the format used by Lectio Divina communities. Each reflection lasts less than ten minutes and is the perfect way to take some time out for reflection in preparation for Easter. Contributors include Fr John Littleton, Fr Brendan Clifford, Sr Sabine Schratz OP, Sr Beatrice OP and Sr Rose Miriam OP.
