The 7.30 pm Friday Mass in St Columba’s Straw is offered each week as an anniversary Mass for deceased parishioners. If you wish to have your loved one prayed for at this Mass you MUST give their name to the Parish Office before Thursday of the relevant week.

This Jesuit Week from 24-31 July will be facilitated by Eddie Cosgrove SJ, Terry Howard SJ and Dermot Mansfield SJ. This post represents the continuing development and commitment in Youth Ministry by the Diocese of Derry and will be a challenging undertaking for the successful candidate.
The main focus of the post will be working with young people, schools and parishes to help them live their faith vibrantly in their school, parish and community. Engaging young people in faith and the activity of the Church will be the post holder’s priority. To be successful you will need to have:
A degree in a relevant discipline - Education, Theology, Religious Education or Pastoral Studies.
